Why did you choose to study in this course?

I want to be a features journalist and it was either DIT or UL. UL was the better choice for me due to the courses broad aims

Yes

On reflection, what made it the right or wrong choice for you?

It was the right choice as we concentrate on every part of the media

Check out the cost of living Erasmus is compulsary in my course and takes place right after Co-Op so it can be an expensive year

What are your favourite aspects of your course?

Feature and Magazine writing

What are your least favourite aspects of your course?

radio is not concentrated on enough so it is hard to get the technical side right

What do you wish you had known before choosing this course?

that the new media side is slightly neglected

It has many good resources and the staff are helpful

as i never lived on campus i cant really compare

If yes, where and why?

Stay in the surrounding estates its much easier to live in a place where other students live as it is less likely to annoy the neighbours. Briarfield elm park and milford are always good choices

How would you recommend this college to a friend?

I love my course as it is challenging and I have made some great friends

What advice would you give to somebody coming to ULknowing nobody?

join clubs and socs put yourself out there
