Why did you choose to study in this course?

because it offered a variety of different modules which I thought were interesting. Also I thought that through having such a wide choice there would be a lot of job opportunities when I completed the course.

Are you happy with your choice of course?

On reflection, what made it the right or wrong choice for you?

The couse was a right choice for me because it had a lot of subjects focused on the government which I found to be particularly interesting also it introduced me to a wider scope of subjects like law and sociology which I would never have done before whcih I really liked.

How many hours of organised classes do you have per week?

Are your lectures/labs mainly based on or off the main campus?

Is your course weighted more on continuous assessment or end of year exams?

Continuous assessment

Is there an option to study abroad on your course?

What are your favourite aspects of your course?

My favouirite aspects is the way we have some work done for subjects before we do exams so it takes the pressure off at exam time also I like the way we can pick or majors during first year not at the start so we can get a flavour of all subjects before picking our majors.

What are your least favourite aspects of your course?

I find the economics module very challenging and if you are choosing this course and you are not keen on maths and economics you should be aware that you have to do economic for first year.

Was your course what you expected?

What do you wish you had known before choosing this course?

That it was not as similiar to business studies course than I thought and that you have to do all five subjects in first year and that you cannot choose your subjects before you start so you cannot avoid subjects you dont like

You have access to may resources and books and because in the course I do there are no set books and you have to you a lot of different matrerial to look at so its helpful that the library gives you access to all this material.

Are you an active member of any societies?

Would you recommend getting involved in college sport?

More sports clubs in first year also I would join one or two societies whcich would look good when going foe co-op also I would meet more people.

How much do you spend on living every week (going out, food, transport etc.), excluding rent and bills?

Do you or have you lived away from home during college?

How much does your rent cost per month?

As a first year did you live in college halls?

Would you recommend living in College Halls?

Would you recommend living in College Halls Why?

For the first year you meet fellow first years easily as many of the villages are dominated by first years. Also with the pressure of moving away from home and settling it it handy that you dont have to worry about different bills as they are all included in your payments.

How would you recommend this college to a friend?

I like the way there is always something to do experience things you never thought you would. Als it so relaxed and fun you dont even notice your doing the work necessary because you are so relaxed unlike secondary school where everything is focused on work.

What advice would you give to somebody coming to ULknowing nobody?

Don't worry there is others in the same position and that you may not think it but you will meet new people and make friends very easily
