Why did you choose to study in this course?

I always had an avid interest in Business, and wanted to work in marketing/sales in the future.

Are you happy with your choice of course?

On reflection, what made it the right or wrong choice for you?

The fact that it was a relevant course to my interests, and gave me a lot of invaluable information that I could use in other jobs, Co-op, etc made it the right choice for me.

How many hours of organised classes do you have per week?

Are your lectures/labs mainly based on or off the main campus?

Is your course weighted more on continuous assessment or end of year exams?

End of year exams

Is there an option to study abroad on your course?

What are your favourite aspects of your course?

I like the variety of the different modules. I can study finance, marketing, IT, etc. It gives me a broad range of new abilities and knowledge which gives me more confidence in performing tasks. The lecturers and tutors available are also of great value. This course encourages independent learning, you are able to do your own research, beyond lecture notes, etc.

What are your least favourite aspects of your course?

The number of group projects. For the most part they go without a hitch, but a lot of the time you can get some slackers, etc. Not necessarily a reflection on the course itself, but there needs to be a proper process implemented to deal with this issue.

Was your course what you expected?

While the books, etc available are good, the security is a joke. Anyone can get into the library so it is full of Leaving Cert students during the Med Term break. The security guard is useless aswell, nowhere to be found when anyone is talking.
