Why did you choose to study in this course?

It is the only integrated science and teaching degree to the best of my knowledge

Are you happy with your choice of course?

On reflection, what made it the right or wrong choice for you?

I was aiming for veterinary, this was my second choice. It was the right second choice for me as it is at its heart a science degree and I surprisingly like the education part too.

How many hours of organised classes do you have per week?

Are your lectures/labs mainly based on or off the main campus?

Is your course weighted more on continuous assessment or end of year exams?

Continuous assessment

Is there an option to study abroad on your course?

What are your favourite aspects of your course?

I really enjoy the biology modules. They are usually quite interesting and the labs are great !

What are your least favourite aspects of your course?

Chemistry is quite difficult, a good basis in it would be a good idea before the course.

Was your course what you expected?

What do you wish you had known before choosing this course?

If I had done all the science courses for the leaving cert I would have been a lot more prepared for this course

There is usually plenty of room except for study week and during the exams.

Would you recommend living in College Halls?

Would you recommend living in College Halls Why?

It's easier to get yourself settled and used to a routine, especially in first year.

How would you recommend this college to a friend?

The social aspect, and I don't mean the drinking. Making new friends, there are so many people and so little time but this is where lifelong friends are made !

What advice would you give to somebody coming to ULknowing nobody?

You will make loads of friends in your course, don't worry.
