Why did you choose your course?

I liked the idea of combining subjects from different fields of study and gaining a deeper understanding and knowledge of these subject areas.

Are you happy with your choice of course?

On reflection, what made it the right or wrong choice for you?

The emphasis of every module appears to be to pass exams rather than to gain an insight or deep knowledge of any subject. There is little flexibility on subject/module choice. No opportunity to specialise in certain areas you may find interesting or excel in. With so little lecture time there is a disproportionate emphasis on individual learning with little guidance.

How many hours of organised classes do you have per week? (labs, tutorials, lectures, etc)

Are your lectures/labs mainly based on or off the main campus?

Is your course weighted more on

End of year exams

Is there an option to study abroad on your course?

What are your favourite aspects of your course?

What little lectures we have are enjoyable and educational.

What are your least favourite aspects of your course?

Little lecture time. Emphasis on exam results rather than overall understanding of a subject. Little flexibility in the course.

Was your course what you expected?

What do you wish you had known before choosing this course?

I wish I had understood that the emphasis on university education at present is related to getting a career/job rather than a profound understanding of a discipline.

Please describe

The hours, in particular there are no early morning openings. Also weekend hours are bad. No discipline in the library it is like a talking shop most of the time.
