Are you happy with your choice of course?

Yes

Why?

I am happy with my choice of course, because the lecturers are great, they help me a lot and I feel that I am developing as a person at the same time learning Spanish. I am also happy, because Spanish is what I wanted to study for a long time and I am very interested in learning Spanish.

How many hours of organised classes do you have per week? (labs, tutorials, lectures, etc)

11-15hrs

On

End of year exams

Is there an option to study abroad on your course?

Yes

What are your favourite aspects of your course?

I do not have a favourite aspect of my course, because I like most of my modules. The favourite would probably learning the Spanish grammar, although at the same time is undoubtedly the most challenging module. I also like Spanish History.

What are your least favourite aspects of your course?

My least favourite aspect of my course would probably be the lack of oral classes we have.

Was your course what you expected?

Yes

Helpful leaving cert (or equivalent) subjects?

Any foreign language in Leavin cert would be very helpful. I think it is a significant advantage to come to college to study a language if you have already studied a foreign language in school. Even if is not the same language.

Library facilities

Library facilities are great. There are not that many books to do with Spanish Literature but if you are looking for a place to study, library is your place to be.

Is there a good social life on your course?

Yes

Please describe

My class representative has organised quite a few social events during the year. We had a few class nights out, also tapas and tequila night in one restaurant in Dublin and at the end of the year we are planning a class trip either to the West if Ireland or to Scotland.
