Great employment opportunities for graduates. Syllabus reflects what industry is looking for.

How many hours of organised classes do you have per week? (labs,tutorials,lectures,etc)

Using real life examples/scenarios to learn from. Very hands on assignments/courses working with industry data and external companies to gain valuable experience.

What are your least favourite aspects of your course?

No option to study abroad. Some lectures can get quite tedious especially in earlier years

Was your course what you expected?


What do you wish you had known before choosing this course?

A better understanding of what I was getting in to. The average Leaving Cert student wouldn't understand the terms used in the prospectus and online. A simplified version would be better.

Classes are quite small and therefore very close knit. The course society DUMSS is invaluable for the course. The course computer room really does have a huge positive effect on the social life/communication within the course.

Great social life, good employment opportunities. What else are you going to do for four years that will offer you these!
