I chose it because I like the logic behind maths and physics and it has lived up to my expectations in those regards.

The more conceptual parts of physics

The maths we learn seems to be purely for the maths, its uses are rarely explained.

What do you wish you had known before choosing this course?

That the course is split between two schools within the same faculty making the maths and physics seem disjointed

Library facilities

Are very good the Hamilton library is well stocked with useful books, it does lack a toilet however.

The class is close knit enough to go out as a class regularly, as well as taking part in pub quizes and so on

Why do you enjoy being a member of this society? why should a prospective student think of joining this society?

The card society attracts a huge spectrum of people from all aspects of college. Its a great way to get to know people from completely different courses
