Why did you choose to study in this college?

I did a two year Montessori course in which I received a certificate in Montessori. I wanted to further my qualifications because I hope to move to America in the future.

Are you happy with your choice of course?

On reflection, what made it the right or wrong choice for you?

This course offers me the chance to gain knowledge in all areas of childcare, which I previously didn't learn.

How many hours of organised classes do you have per week?

Are your lectures/labs mainly based on or off the main campus?

Is your course weighted more on continuous assessment or end of year exams?

End of year exams

Is there an option to study abroad on your course?

What are your favourite aspects of your course?

The tutorials are quite small so it is easier to talk to the tutor if you have any problems. I also like how the curriculum of the course is divided into two semesters because it is less stressful to have 3 exams per semester rather than 6 at the end of the year.

What are your least favourite aspects of your course?

I don't have any problems with it at the moment.

Was your course what you expected?

What do you wish you had known before choosing this course?

I did a lot of research into this course before I started it so there is nothing that I wish I had known before choosing it.

I'm happy with the facilities because there are many quiet places you can study. It's also great for practicing group presentations when you rent a room. I only really have two problems with the library facilities. Firstly, there aren't enough computers. Every time I go to the library all of the computers are full and there is a que of people waiting for one of them to be free. Also, you cant take a book downstairs in the library without checking it out. This can be really annoying if you are working downstairs and need more than three books.

Are you an active member of any societies?

If yes, please name the societies

Environmental Society

Why do you enjoy being a member of this society? why should a prospective student think of joining this society?

I joined this society because I think that it is for a good cause. I haven't actually been able to attend any of the meetings yet because I have been so busy doing course work. I hope to attend more next semester because they have a vegetable garden on campus and you can help grow and pick your own vegetables.

Are you a member of any sports clubs?

How much do you spend on living every week (going out, food, transport etc.), excluding rent and bills?

Do you or have you lived away from home during college?

How would you recommend this college to a friend?

I just love the atmosphere especially at lunch time there is always something going on in the canteen. The music is great and always puts everyone in a good mood. Everyone is so friendly and its just a great college to attend.
