Why did you choose to study in this college?

I liked that it contained three different career options so it gives a more broader career choice later in life.

Are you happy with your choice of course?

On reflection, what made it the right or wrong choice for you?

It suited my personality so I'm happy I chose it.

How many hours of organised classes do you have per week?

Are your lectures/labs mainly based on or off the main campus?

Is your course weighted more on continuous assessment or end of year exams?

Continuous assessment

Is there an option to study abroad on your course?

If you studied abroad, is there any advice you would give someone looking to study abroad?

I didn't study abroad but I would recommend doing it from the stories I've heard of the people that did do it.

What are your favourite aspects of your course?

I like that its practically based - we get to organise events for the students of IT Sligo.

What are your least favourite aspects of your course?

There is way too much group work and continuous assessment going on. Very stressful year because of it.

Was your course what you expected?

What do you wish you had known before choosing this course?

I wish I had known that you're literally thrown into the deep end - that way I would at least be expecting it.

Its a nice library and all but there is no toilets, if the doors were allowed to be open downstairs then people could get to the toilets quicker. And also get to the student union shop quicker. The main problem I have with the library is that you cannot print documents from your personal lap-top. The printers should be wirelessly able to print from your laptop. It would make life so much easier.

Rate your course in terms of difficulty

Please rate your course in terms of workload

More than other courses

Are you an active member of any societies?

Are you a member of any sports clubs?

How much do you spend on living every week (going out, food, transport etc.), excluding rent and bills?

Do you or have you lived away from home during college?

How much does your rent cost per month?

As a first year did you live in college halls?

If yes, where and why?

Millgan Place in the town, close to all amenities and only a 10min walk into college.

How would you recommend this college to a friend?

I like how it's a relatively small college and because of this people are much more friendlier.
