Why did you choose your course?

I wanted a back up plan so I choose something that didn't have high points but something I was interested in.

Are you happy with your choice of course?

On reflection, what made it the right or wrong choice for you?

I wish I had done this course in dublin so then I could do interns throughout the college years to gain more experience in the industry.

How many hours of organised classes do you have per week? (labs, tutorials, lectures, etc)

Are your lectures/labs mainly based on or off the main campus?

If off campus, does this affect you and how?

Don't have any classes off campus.

Is your course weighted more on

Continuous assessment

Is there an option to study abroad on your course?

If you studied abroad, is there any advice you would give someone looking to study abroad?

I didn't study abroad but friends of mine did and they enjoyed it mostly in Spain rather than the friends who studied in France.

What are your favourite aspects of your course?

Half day Fridays. Very little projects to do by yourself or even in groups in 1st year. However once 3rd year comes along it's a different story!

What are your least favourite aspects of your course?

In 3rd year there are far too many projects and group work that you get confused as to which group for which class you are meant to be in!! And then you have to arrange so many meetings to get the work done with so many groups!

Was your course what you expected?

What do you wish you had known before choosing this course?

That it was so broad - I wish I knew it didn't focus in on PR as that was the main reason I choose it.

especially since it was remodelled. They need to have wireless printing though!

Is there a good social life on your course?

Please describe

Everyone is generally nice and friendly and Sligo is a small town so you meet people you know everywhere!

Are your training facilities easily accessible?

Are your training facilities at a good standard?

Do you feel that you are playing at a standard that matches your ability?

I don't know

What would be helpful to know before joining your sports club?

I do not know as I am not a member.

Would you recommend getting involved in college sport?

Not for me

I'm not a sporty kind of person.

How much do you spend on living every week (going out, food, transport etc.), excluding rent and bills?

Do you or have you lived away from home during college?

How much does your rent cost per month?

As a first year did you live in college halls?

There aren't really college halls in IT Sligo but there are many nearby college accommodation

How would you recommend this college to a friend?

It's great for someone who doesn't want to go to a huge college and get lost in it!
