Are you happy with your choice of course?

On reflection, what made it the right or wrong choice for you?

If I did pure law or pure business, I would probably get bored with similar subjects, I enjoy the variation. I found most of the modules interesting. The class is quite close, and a decent size, making it easy enough to get to know people.

How many hours of organised classes do you have per week?

Are your lectures/labs mainly based on or off the main campus?

Is your course weighted more on continuous assessment or end of year exams?

End of year exams

Is there an option to study abroad on your course?

What are your favourite aspects of your course?

Tutorials- Opportunity to learn, understand and be challenged. The variation. The mix of continuous assessment and end of year exams. Getting to know the class.

What are your least favourite aspects of your course?

Some lectures were quite dull and didn't try to engage the students, meaning low attendance. No economics tutorials. It is very competitive.

Was your course what you expected?

What do you wish you had known before choosing this course?

Its intensity. The individual modules we do. How competitive it is.

Not enough plug sockets for laptops.

Is there a good social life on your course?

Please describe

Class of about 120 so a good size for class trips, class nights out, by now I know about a third to half of the course where as some friends in Arts know very few.

Yes. One of the biggest societies on campus. Guest talks and debates are interesting. Good if you do law.

If yes, please name the sports clubs?

Do you feel that you are playing at a standard that matches your ability?

How much do you spend on living every week (going out, food, transport etc.), excluding rent and bills?

How would you recommend this college to a friend?

If you make the effort to get involved you will have a good time. Lots of sports and societies. Good fun and social scene. However, if you don't know people can seem hard to get involved, can be quite cliquey.
