Why did you choose to study this course?

I liked biology and physics and wanted to work in a hospital but I wasn’t sure medicine was for me.

On reflection, what made it the right or wrong choice for you?

I love the biology and practical parts. I love the placement we do and the patients we deal with.

What are your favourite aspects of your course?

The practical labs are great as they prepare you for the real hospital setting and allow you to ask any questions in a real world setting.

What are your least favourite aspects of your course?

Some of our modules feel irrelevant and it can be hard to study when you don't feel it's applicable to your course.

What do you wish you had known before choosing this course?

I wish I had known that there was a lot of computer technology to learn in this course.


the main books we require are always available which is useful as they are expensive to buy.

Is there a good social life on your course?

we bond really well on placement and in classes so we can enjoy group night out together. The placement setting is great for getting to know each other well.

It allows me to meet other radiography classes and organise nights out so we can all get to know each other and pass on tips to new year groups.
