Why did you choose your course?

I always had an interest in both chemistry and biology so I chose to study Medicinal Chemistry. This course combines both aspects of my favourite subjects.

On reflection, what made it the right or wrong choice for you?

It was the right choice for me because I have an interest in the design of medicinal drugs.

What are your favourite aspects of your course?

Getting to learn how to synthesize new drugs from combining different substances in a lab and knowing that one day it may be you who discovers the next cure for a disease.

What are your least favourite aspects of your course?

The lab time and work.

That the work load was going to be so great.
