Why did you choose to study in this college?

At the time I had an interest in computer science and thought it would be a good industry to get into.

Are you happy with your choice of course?

No

On reflection, what made it the right or wrong choice for you?

I just began to lose interest, and I don't really talk to many people in my class. I don't see myself doing this in 5 years.

How many hours of organised classes do you have per week?

21-25hrs

Are your lectures/labs mainly based on or off the main campus?

On

Is your course weighted more on continuous assessment or end of year exams?

End of year exams

Is there an option to study abroad on your course?

Yes

What are your favourite aspects of your course?

Security and encryption, and some of the programming when it goes right.

What are your least favourite aspects of your course?

All the tedious stuff, like threads in operating systems and when there's irreverent points on the module websites.

Was your course what you expected?

No

What do you wish you had known before choosing this course?

How much there would be on the nitty-gritty of computing.

Why?

Well we don't really use it for our course, bit I'd use it at exam times, it's just dofficult getting a place to study.
