Why did you choose to study in this college?

I had been working for a couple of years after school and it gave me a better understanding of what i wanted to do and mixing engineering with business studies seemed to be the perfect combo for me

Yes

On reflection, what made it the right or wrong choice for you?

i worked for 3 years when i left school. In both jobs I was promoted but as I didn't have the qualifications or experience, I was unable to progress any further. I would recommend a year or two out before colelge to get your head straight

30+hrs

Yes

What are your favourite aspects of your course?

the business and marketing side and the manufacturing processes are very interesting, i like it all really

What are your least favourite aspects of your course?

the heavy weighting on end of year exams

Was your course what you expected?

No

that there wudnt be so much hands on stuff. I thought there would be loads of projects, building stuff but there hasn't been a lot

Why?

its too crowded around exam time

good courses and lecturers, not much social buzz and very cliquey
